Description
Ring Anthelea
In Greek mythology, the name Anthelea refers to one of the 50 daughters of Danaus, that is, one of the Danaids.
Anthelea's mother was Polyxo, and therefore Anthelea was the cousin of Autonoe, Vryce, Glaukkipe, Erato, Euippe, Eurydice, Electra, Theano, Cleodore, Cleopatra and Stygne.
She married the son of Aegyptus, Cisseus, whom she killed on the first night of their marriage, as did the other 48 of the Danaids with their husbands.
