Amethyst
Amethyst is a type of Quartz that has pink-violet or purple color and is considered as a precious stone. His name originates for the Ancient Greek word «μεθύω» (get drunk) and the alpha (α) privative. In Ancient Greece, people wore jewelry with amethyst and crafted utensils (glasses) from the stone, believing in that way they would not get drunk.
