Ring Nelo
In Greek mythology, the name Nelo refers to one of the 50 daughters of Danaus, that is, one of the Danaids. Nelo's mother was an anonymous Ethiopian. Nelo married the son of Aegyptus, Menemacus, whom she killed on the first night of their marriage, as did the other 48 of the Danaids with their husbands.
Μητέρα της Νηλούς ήταν μια ανώνυμη Αιθιοπίδα. Η Νηλώ παντρεύτηκε τον γιο του Αιγύπτου Μενέμαχο και τον δολοφόνησε την πρώτη νύχτα του γάμου τους,
όπως έπραξαν με τους συζύγους τους και οι άλλες 48 από τις Δαναΐδες.
