Description
Pendant Chrysippe
In Greek mythology, the name Chrysippe refers to one of the 50 daughters of Danaus, that is, one of the Danaids. Chrysippe's mother was Memphis, and therefore she was sister of Clite and Sthenele. Chrysippe married the son of Aegyptus, Chrysippus, whom she killed on the first night of their marriage, as did the other 48 of the Danaids with their husbands.
